The Honkers, a team of talented young runners, extended their fall season in style this weekend by clinching a remarkable 4th place finish in the Sac-Joaquin Subsection Cross Country meet. Their impressive performance left spectators and competitors in awe as they overcame the odds and secured a spot in the upcoming Sac-Joaquin Section Finals.

In a grueling race held on a challenging course, the Honkers displayed their resilience, teamwork, and determination, pushing themselves to the limits. What made this achievement even more remarkable was the fact that they outpaced formidable schools like Granite Bay, Rio Americano, Lodi, and Jesuit, proving that the Honkers were indeed a force to be reckoned with.

Individually, three Honkers made it into the coveted Top 10, further underlining their exceptional skills and determination. Izak Pacheco, displaying remarkable speed and endurance, crossed the finish line in 4th place. Joseph Thomas, not to be outdone, secured the 5th position, and Chris Camolinga's impressive performance earned him the 10th spot in the rankings.
