The Yuba City Honkers baseball team concluded their season in spectacular fashion, sweeping cross-town rivals River Valley Falcons in a thrilling series. The Honkers asserted their dominance over the Falcons, securing victories in all three games with scores of 5-2, 12-4, and 10-3. This impressive performance not only solidified their standing within the league but also marked a triumphant end to their regular season.

The momentum didn't stop there for the Honkers, as they closed out the season on an impressive 6-game winning streak. During this streak, they notably defeated Top 25 teams Bella Vista and Vista Del Lago, showcasing their resilience and skill against formidable opponents.

Adding to the season's success, four graduating seniors from the Yuba City Honkers have committed to continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level this fall. Kaedin Bulock, Cameron Johnson, Grant Fletcher, and Donny Supat have all accepted offers to play baseball for American River College, highlighting their dedication and talent both on and off the field.

"This season has been a testament to our team's hard work and determination," said Coach Maury Castaneda. "The series sweep against River Valley and our wins against top-ranked teams were significant milestones for us. We're incredibly proud of our graduating seniors who will be taking their skills to the next level at American River College.
